How to require a handwritten answer with an Input Question
The Input Question Editor can be used to create a question where the test taker is asked to take a photo of their handwritten answer. The proctor or test administrator can review, evaluate and download the answer after the exam.
In order to evaluate Input Questions, Advanced Reporting needs to be enabled before the exams are executed.
To create a question that requires a handwritten submission:
1. Create a new question using the Input Question Editor. Write the instructions for the test takers.

2. In the ANSWER tab, select the input type Take Photo.

3. You can go back to the ANSWER tab and preview your question.

4. After the exam takes places, the answer can be reviewed and evaluated following the same steps for evaluating Input Questions. If desired, you can download the answer to your computer by clicking the download button.
