Reinstating the Exam
In exam systems where there is no ability to Reinstate The Exam, if the participants experience any problems in the exam, the Exam Manager may need to reopen the exam from the beginning. However, this casts a shadow over the fairness in the exam process because starting the exam again from the beginning gives a significant advantage to the individual.
Before reinstating a person’s exam, Exam Logs should be examined and the process the user claims to be experiencing should be confirmed.
When you reinstate an exam, you can determine which sections and pages the person will have re-access to; you can set the time limit for each section and page from scratch.
